Building Resilience

This half-day interactive workshop is designed to strengthen personal well-being and self-care.  Participants will share stories of resilience and triumph, discover strengths, and learn how to leverage inner power to create a better future. Workers can use skills learned here to build resilience in their clients.

Emotional Intelligence

This half or full-day workshop explores how to be emotionally intelligent in the workplace.   An employee with high emotional intelligence manages his or her own impulses, communicates with others effectively, manages change well, solves problems, and builds rapport even intense situations. This course uses case studies, assessments, discussion, and reflection to build emotional intelligence in the workplace.

Managing Stress

Stress can be managed effectively when we have the right tools! This workshop acknowledges that positive and negative stress is a constant influence in our lives. The trick is to maximize the positive stress and to minimize the negative stress. This workshop will give participants a three-option method for addressing any stressful situation, as well as a toolbox of personal skills, including using routines, relaxation techniques, and a stress log system.

 
 

Work-Life Balance

Work-life balance is essential to combat stress, ensuring both individual and agency success.  Employees who have the tools to balance their professional and personal lives are happier, healthier, and more productive. In this workshop, participants will learn the benefits of work-life balance, recognize signs of unbalance, identify resources to create balance at both work and home. As a result of the workshop, employees will have the tools to better manage time and stress, resulting in a more productive workplace.

Mindfulness 

What if we could choose our responses rather than react, no matter how challenging the situation is. In this workshop, participants will learn what mindfulness is, why it matters, and develop techniques to become more mindful in the workplace.  Learners will understand the value of emotion, how to counter distorted thinking, and cultivate genuine positive emotion. When we master mindfulness, we are more likely to be fully present in workplace interactions.
